Cheesy Rice Grits

Easy, cheesy comfort food that will leave your whole family happy!

Made with Ralston Family Farms Golden Rice Grits

Ingredients

4 cups stock, broth or water (we used chicken broth) 

½ teaspoon sea salt 

1 cup Ralston Family Farms Golden Rice Grits 

1 cup freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese 

½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese 

¼ cup milk of your choosing 

¼ cup butter 

Optional for garnish: more cheese, paprika, cracked black pepper 

Instructions

*Tip: for a creamier texture, do not rinse before cooking.* 

  1. Bring the stock, broth or water and salt to a boil in a large pot then slowly stir in Golden Rice Grits, stirring continuously until tender and creamy, about 5-7 minutes. 
  2. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, milk, and butter until melty and combined. 
  3. Taste and stir in a bit more salt if desired.  
  4. Serve warm topped with more cheese, paprika, and/or black pepper. Enjoy!
