10 Minute Fried Rice

Have ten minutes? Turn your leftover rice into a delicious meal with this versatile recipe.

Made with Ralston Family Farms Jasmine Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked Jasmine
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken, diced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bag of steam-in-bag peas and carrots
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked protein of choice (chicken, shrimp, tofu, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken with a little butter in your skillet, while cook peas and carrots in the microwave. 
  2. Remove chicken from the pan and add tablespoon of butter. 
  3. Sauté cooked peas and carrots in the pan with green onions and garlic. 
  4. Once the green onions are tender, move vegetables to the side of the pan. 
  5. Add in the egg, then scramble. 
  6. Return chicken to skillet with cooked rice and soy sauce. 
  7. Add protein if desired.
