Ingredients
1 cup Ralston Family Farms Basmati Rice
1-1½ cups high-protein bone broth (chicken or beef; look for 8–10g protein per cup)
1 pinch kosher salt
Instructions
*Rinse rice under cold water until clear to remove excess starch for a light, fluffy texture.
Stove Top Method
Best for: classic texture + most control
- In a pot, combine 1 cup rice, 1½ cups bone broth, and a pinch kosher salt then bring to boil.
- Stir, cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and keep covered to let steam 10 minutes.
- Fluff and enjoy!
Rice Cooker Method
Best for: set-it-and-forget-it convenience
- In a rice cooker, combine 1 cup rice, 1½ cups bone broth, and a pinch kosher salt then select white rice function.
- Once done, let steam 5 minutes.

Instant Pot Method
Best for: fastest cook time
- In instant pot, combine 1 cup rice, 1 cup bone broth, and a pinch kosher salt then cook on high pressure for 6 minutes. For softer texture, add an extra ¼ cup broth.
- Allow natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release.
