WHITE RICE

1 cup of rice
1 1/2 cups water
Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir once, cover, and reduce heat. Simmer for 15 minutes until rice is tender and has absorbed all the liquid. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 to 10 minutes.
For best results, we recommend using a rice cooker.

We also used this amazing rice to make Hibachi fried rice and WOW! It worked great. We cooked the rice in the morning, let cool and then refrigerated until time to prep for dinner. It literally turned out just like Hibachi fried rice. It was a NEW favorite for the family! This rice is amazing!!

We purchased the Basmati rice at our local grocer, Schnuck's, to use with our new rice cooker for dinner. The rice was absolutely fantastic and my husband said he could eat it plain. We used it with a very easy, favorite family recipe of ours: cut about 2 lbs. of steak into strips and cook on low (on 2 heat out of 10) in some beefy onion soup mix and cup of water for a couple hours until tender, add sliced onion and green pepper until slightly tender, add large can of cream of mushroom soup, maybe 1/2 to 1 cup of water/milk depending on consistency you like, a beef bouillon cube, and salt & pepper to taste. Heat and serve over Ralston Family Farms Basmati Rice - it was a great combination!! The kids thought it was the best rice we have used with this dish and I completely agree!!
